I admire ALL who do this challenge and I might try it some day. But to describe this as rowing across the ocean I think diminishes what is REALLY required and what is happening which is wind, currents, weather, leveraged by rowing, and mental strength of the crews! A hell of a lot more complicated than just go out and row across an ocean! If I am wrong, then why are so many of these videos the crews are talking about the impact of the winds as if they were on sail boats? PS that is why ancient mariners quickly moved beyond rowing to sails :)

I really do not understand 2 hours on and 2 hours off. I would think 4 hours on and 4 hours off would be better. Off just for 2 hours you cannot get a good sleep at all!

I am amazed how long they have been doing these rowing crossings and no deaths. Speaks volumes for the great work of the organizers! This needs to be an TV show like Deadliest Catch!

The bothwell larp is *inspired* by harry potter but this is like straight up a Harry potter larp.

They should do an actual wizard school with real spells and teach remote viewing lucid dreaming astral projection psychokinesis etc.

Fascinating. I'd be interested to see a longitudinal study some day, to know what happens to the students after they graduate. What kinds of jobs do they take or create? How does this kind of education affect things like parenting their own children? etc.

My boarding school does this every year as a school trip! Then we get the entire castle to ourself and the the role play Academy who plays our professors and NPC’s! It’s amazing! We have classes and there are secret passageways and werewolf! If you have time and money for this, do it!!
